FIMMIGRM Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) sets forth the handling of information of users (“Users”) obtained by K.K. TMIK (“TMIK”) in relation to the use of the “FIMMIGRM” service (“Service”) provided by TMIK.
Unless otherwise provided in this Policy, the terms used herein shall have the same meanings as defined in the FIMMIGRM Terms of Use. The FIMMIGRM Terms of Use shall apply to matters not stipulated in this Policy.

Article 1. Definitions

TMIK handles personal information lawfully and appropriately in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (“Personal Information Protection Act”) and other related laws and regulations, guidelines etc. specified by the personal information protection committee, and this Policy.
For the purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” means personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act, specifically, information about a living individual that falls under any of the following items.

  1. Information which can identify the specific individual by name, date of birth, or other description (as defined in Article 2, Paragraph (1), Item (i) of the same Act) contained in such information (including such information as will allow easy reference to other information and will thereby enable the identification of the specific individual); and
  2. Information that contains a person identification code as specified in Article 2, Paragraph (2), Item (ii) of the same Act.

Article 2. Acquired Information and Purpose of Use etc.

In the Services, in the following cases, TMIK acquires information specified in the following items (“User Information”) from Users in order to use such information for the purposes set forth in the following items.

(5) Internet domain name, IP address, and other information relating to viewing of the Services Acquired during use of the Services To improve the Services by analyzing Users usage environments, to develop new services of TMIK, and to prevent use in a manner that violates the terms of use etc. and other unauthorized use of the Services
(6) Cookies associated with Users’ use of the Services Acquired during use of the Services To improve convenience such as saving Users settings, to maintain and protect sessions, to ascertain the number of times Users use the Services and usage patterns, and to promote smooth use of this service

Article 3. Restrictions on Use of User Information

Except in a case where consent has been obtained from the User or where required or permitted under laws and regulations, TMIK will not handle User Information in excess of the scope necessary to attain the purposes of use set forth in the items of Article 2.

Article 4. Secure Management of User Information

  1. TMIK will keep User Information accurate and up-to-date, and will make efforts to delete User Information when it is no longer needed.
  2. TMIK will take necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the secure management of User Information against risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, and divulgence of User Information.
  3. TMIK will thoroughly inform employees regarding the proper handling of User Information, provide appropriate education, and carry out necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure the secure management of User Information when causing employees to handle User Information.

Article 5. Provision etc. to Third Parties

  1. Except in cases falling under any of the following items, TMIK will not provide User Information falling under Personal Information to third parties.
    1. Cases where the consent of the User is obtained in advance;
    2. Cases pursuant to laws and regulations;
    3. Cases where it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the principal;
    4. Cases where there is a specific need to improve public health or promote the sound child development, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the principal;
    5. Cases where it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, local government, or a person contracted thereby in carrying out administrative work stipulated by laws and regulations, and there is a likelihood that obtaining the consent of the principal will hinder the performance of such administrative work; and
    6. Cases where the business of TMIK is succeeded through a business assignment etc.
  2. TMIK may outsource the handling of User Information to subcontractors to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. At such time, TMIK will thoroughly examine subcontractor eligibility and manage subcontractors so that User Information will be handled appropriately.
  3. TMIK uses Google Analytics, an external service, to collect anonymous traffic data in order to measure the frequency of use of the Services for the purpose of fixing and improving the Services. This does not identify individual Users. Please refer to the company's privacy policy (https://www.google.com/intl/ja/policies/privacy/partners/) for the information collected by Google Analytics and the handling thereof.

Article 6. Personal Information Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion

When a User requests disclosure, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use or erasure of personal information (hereinafter referred to as

If Users do not agree to provide personal information, TMIK will be unable to provide all or part of the Services.

Article 8. Revision

This Policy is subject to revision. Upon any revision, TMIK will display the revised version of this Policy in the manner designated by TMIK, and notify Users to the effect that this Policy has been revised in the manner designated by TMIK.
